Operation Christmas Child Collection Week

 It’s Operation Christmas Child Season!  Have you packed your shoebox yet? 

We are going big this year! Please help our church reach our goal to build 200 boxes!

Why is this goal so important?

• For every 100 boxes sent, 21 children report decisions for Christ through The Greatest Journey Class.
• For every shoebox sent, 7-10 people hear the Gospel message.      
• Every 24 hours, 29,106 children hear the Gospel at shoebox gift outreach events.      
• Every 14 seconds, a child becomes a follower of Jesus Christ through The Greatest Journey.      
• For every shoebox sent, nine people will hear the gospel message! Children take the gospel message back to their family and friends. This often results in further evangelism, discipleship, and the starting of churches in their communities.

You can help us reach our goal in two ways:

1.   Fill a standard sized shoebox with toiletries, school supplies, clothing items, small toys and one “Wow” gift; fill out and attach a label to the top of the box (label found in the Operation Christmas Child brochure or online), place a $10 suggested donation inside the shoebox to cover shipping and other expenses (checks should be made out to Samaritan’s Purse), then bring the shoebox to church by November 13th. If you don’t have a shoebox, we have plenty at the Operation Christmas Child table in the sanctuary. OR…….
2.   Build a box on line for $25 on our Valley Presbyterian Church Goal Page. How do I find our Church Goal Page?  Click Here  Then click on “Build a Shoebox Online Now”. When you get to the next page click on “Start Building”.

Valley will be open to receive packed boxes at these dates/times:

Monday, November 14^th: 3-5 pm

Tuesday, November 15^th: 2-4 pm

Wednesday, November 16^th: 5-7 pm

Thursday, November 17^th: 2-4 pm

Friday, November 18^th: 3-5 pm

Saturday, November 19^th: 9-11 am

Sunday, November 20^th: 1-3 pm

Monday, November 21^st: 9-11 am
