Welcome To Valley
We listen to God's word. We dive in with people. We go beyond the walls. We open our hands. We forge new paths. We develop others.

Our mission statement at Valley is "Following Christ Together."  Our gathered time of worship is a place of sanctuary, or safety.  As such, we wanted to provide you with what to expect in order for you to feel connected and a part during your time with us. We love people and are eager to hear your story.  As such, our trained greeters are available at the two main entrances to meet you and help you get to where you need to go, from restrooms, to the worship service.

Valley Presbyterian Church is a congregation of “disciple-making disciples.” Thus, all of our ministries are built around drawing people to the gospel, living lives of ongoing repentance and faith, and growing in our enjoyment of and affections toward Christ.

What is a Sunday at Valley like?
Service starts at 10:45am

We preach through books of the Bible, through the lens of what is called the Fallen Condition Focus.  What does this mean?  Simply, that we believe the Bible speaks to us where we are, exposes us to our sin, and points us to the grace of God as given to us in Jesus.

What style is your worship music?

At Valley, our philosophy of worship revolves around providing music that helps God's people internalize the gospel. Music, according to Luther is second only to theology. Our desire is to sing the gospel before hearing Jesus preached. While we try to vary the style of music, our goal is to have the music serve the lyrics for the benefit of God's people.

What about my kids?

We have a staffed nursery for children from birth through age 3.

There is an information card used during the sign in process that a volunteer will help you work through when you put your child into our care.

Have kids older than 4?

Before the end of music worship and the preaching, children of this age are invited to participate in Children's Church.  You will see other parents get up and take their children to the back right and left of the worship center.  There is a sign-in where you will be greeted and offered help in the brief registration process in our fellowship hall.  During Children's Church, your children will work through the curriculum Teach Me to Worship, which introduces and explains the elements of worship, such as Benediction, Reading of the Word, Tithes, and more!

Safety is our top priority at Valley, our volunteers are back ground checked and receive regular training in child protection and adhere to our safety policies and procedures.
